Maintenance Mechanic
Qualifications:
Mechanical and Electrical maintenance training and aptitude (trade license not required)
5 yrs+ experience in maintenance of industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment
Experience with metal fabrication / parts production preferred
Good familiarity with drives, gearboxes, and motors
Experience with machining or welding an asset
Knowledge of electrical maintenance 480V and under (wiring, circuits, power suppliers, PLC troubleshooting, etc.)
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Good interpersonal skills and a team player with a safety-first attitude
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Willing and able to work assigned shift as required
Duties:
Repair, maintaining and/or overhauling automated and PLC controlled fabrication equipment as needed
Troubleshooting fabrication equipment - mechanical and any electrical (wiring, circuits, power supplies, etc.), 480V and under
Participating in PM program
Complete all maintenance work in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario and industrial regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Shift: M-F / 40 hours per week
Compensation: $30 to $40 an hour based on experience

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
