What do you contribute?

Siemens Mobility Turnkey is embarking on an extraordinary journey, and we want you to be a part of it. As our Competence Manager, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our teams have the expertise they need to excel in delivering world-class railway turnkey projects.

Reporting directly into the Head of Turnkey Global Expert House, your role is vital for our teams’ success in delivering top-notch railway turnkey projects.

  • Develop and refine people and competence management strategies to directly influence our business trajectory path.

  • Shape the future workforce by optimizing, managing, and monitoring existing job profiles, development landscapes, and skills profiles, considering current industry trends, and incorporating change early stage as a change manager.

  • Identify and address ongoing skills development needs and provide customized training via our internal learning platform.

  • Lead onboarding activities and training for new employees in the hubs to ensure seamless integration and continuously promote improvement of skills management throughout the company.

  • Your most important interfaces are the overall turnkey management, all hub management, and People & Organization (Business Partner, Learning & Development).

What do you bring along?

  • Successful completion of a university degree in psychology, business administration, business psychology, or HR management.

  • Extensive international professional experience in skills development and training and sound process knowledge in the areas of personnel planning, personnel development and recruiting.

  • Your analytical mindset and project management skills empower you to prioritize and effectively manage processes.

  • You exhibit outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

  • Additionally, you possess advanced presentation and facilitation abilities, ideally complemented with coaching training.

  • Initiative, results-driven approach, assertiveness, and networking skills are pivotal for excelling in this role.

  • Fluent proficiency in both German and English is required, with proficiency in other languages being advantageous.
