Robert Half Customer Support Specialist X2 in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Experience Specialist in the Printing/Publishing industry, based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is a hybrid, requiring presence in our Boston office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are home-based. As a vital team member, you will manage customer inquiries, process orders, and maintain our internal databases, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and needs via phone, email, and live chat in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring a 'customer-first' mindset at all times.

• Process customer purchase orders and returns in accordance with our business cycles.

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly, aiming to resolve issues as efficiently as possible.

• Accurately maintain, monitor, and update our internal databases and processing systems related to order processing.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal requests related to customer inquiries and ordering.

• Emphasize multitasking and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

• Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and adapt to our fast-paced work environment.

• Utilize Microsoft Word for various tasks and duties.

• Uphold a high level of energy and professionalism in all customer interactions.

• Possess a well-spoken and articulate communication style. Requirements • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficient in Microsoft Word

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Proven experience in a customer service role

• Ability to handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Knowledge of printing/publishing industry is a plus

• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated

• Strong dedication to providing excellent customer service

• Must have excellent organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

• Must have a proactive approach to tasks

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
