Position Overview
Responsible for helping Shaw’s Commercial Division profitably grow around the world by providing marketing, product, digital and communications support for the business outside the US. The Global Marketing Manager will b e the key intermediary between the in-market regional marketing teams and the central Shaw Contract and Pa tcraft m arketing teams based at the Create Centre in Cartersville, GA. Th e role will provide regular support to the varied needs of the latter, as well as the Global Marketing Director based in the US.
Responsibilities:
Own asset creation, project management and collaboration needed from the US to support carpet tile product launches from Plant CN in Nantong, China and Plant SQ in Sanquhar , Scotland and hard surface launches for all markets outside the US
Inform regional marketing teams about all new, and existing, initiatives, projects and product launches at the Create Centre and improve communications to our global sales teams
Advocate for regional needs with teams here in the US (especially when Global Marketing Director is not available) and become the “go-to” global expert for the Shaw Contract and Patcraft teams
Coordinate training and regular dialogue between the digital and regional marketing teams. Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions through new processes to increase impact of the regional versions of shawcontract.com around the globe as well as social media, email campaigns
Grow our business specified in the US and installed abroad by developing internal campaigns (Global Team Selling) and serving as a point of contact for global business questions
Develop the Inforum team to be more knowledgeable and helpful to our global teams
Liaise between technical services and the local marketing teams to execute proper regionalization of technical documents
Provide a superior experience for customers, colleagues and trainees from outside the US both digitally and when they visit NW Georgia
Coordinate and maintain the Resource Center, Google Drive, and/or other designated databases with product, marketing, project and technical information for our global teams
Ensure consistent brand messaging and communications across all material and platforms in all regions around the world and coordinate simultaneous marketing efforts for global campaigns
Manage and support regional needs for new product launches coming only out of US plants
Requirements and Preferred Skills:
4-year business, marketing degree or relevant experience.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
Problem solver with good attention to detail, ability to think strategically, but execution focused
Extreme curiosity and empathy to work with people from all cultures, and with varied English skills
Self-motivated to project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with little supervision
Time zone flexibility with meetings taking place early morning or late evening (Eastern US Time)
Adaptable to a dynamic work environment and able to implement alternate solutions
Possess good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Global mindset (preference to experience through work, family, travel, etc.)
Foreign language skills preferred
Proven digital marketing, graphic design or writing skills preferred
