Volt is immediately hiring for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician in
Englewood, Colorado.
As and Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician you will assemble continuous
emission monitoring systems and industrial sensors and instruments to include
modifications during assembly phases of engineering projects.
Electro-mechanical assembly of EMS equipment and industrial sensors.
Assure compliance with specs and completion dates.
Suggest modifications to designs.
Modify blueprints and drawings as suggestions for Systems Engineer to review.
Coordinate/monitor inventory for projects.
Forklift operation desired.
May be required to assist System Engineer in troubleshooting systems.
Other duties as required.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent and some degree of vocational or technical
training.
Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience, and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work with compressed air and gas pressures exceeding 100 psi.
Ability to work with electricity from 12 v DC to 240 v AC.
Ability to read and interpret formal blueprints and engineering drawings.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair control instruments and devices.
Must be familiar with basic machining and calibrations techniques in order to
assemble mechanical components.
Experienced with basic hand and power tools.
Soldering and low pressure pneumatics experience to include tube bending.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds, stand for an entire shift
as well as stoop, bend, reach and climb ladders.
Salary Range:
$35,090.00 - $58,630.00
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several
factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work
location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
