You will contribute to our business’ success,
navigating a very dynamic and fast-paced environment while solving various
technical issues relating to complex gas turbine combustion components. You may
participate in daily Gemba meetings where part/project priorities are
highlighted as they relate to both standard production and various development
initiatives. At times, you will be on the shop floor closely working with the
operators to solve or improve quality issues. You will collaborate daily with manufacturing
engineers, production, and repair network to insure quality processes and
products.
HowYou’ll Make an Impact
Ensuresmanufacturing and quality processes are clearly defined and communicatedfrom manufacturing engineering to the shop floor via technicalinstructions and quality control charts.
Developsand implements product-specific quality processes utilizing soundengineering judgment and methodologies
Ensuresquality requirements are met during component manufacturing to internaland customer requirements
Performprocess audits and runs continuous improvement projects
Detectand track non-conformances and lead the process of root cause analysis andcorrective and preventive measure definition
Supportthe repair business in all quality aspects as well as all thermal spray qualityissues within the Combustion department
What You Bring
Candidateshould have BS in Engineering or Manufacturing related degree
Abilityto apply continuous improvement methods to increase manufacturing quality,efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness
Familiaritywith gas turbine combustion hardware – specifically transition ducts andcombustor baskets and the methods of manufacturing these parts i.e.CNC programming/machining,welding/fabrication, laser drilling, and thermal spray coatings
Experiencewith project and schedule management
Preferredcandidate should be familiar with Lean and or Six Sigma philosophies andtheir application in process capability and improvement
Must bedetail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Requiredat least 5 years’ experience in the energy or manufacturing industry.
Candidatewith more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.

innovate conventional and renewable power supply. Currently, we're reducing
carbon emissions of existing assets and developing technologies that transform
power generation applications.
