Job Description
A large, industrial manufacturing client in the Chattanooga, TN area is looking to hire a Production Supervisor/Foreman to join their facility. They will be responsible for supervising individuals that work first shift (5AM-3:30/4PM) and will report to the Superintendent. In total, there are 20+ people on the first shift. There are 8 bays in total (60-80ft wide, 100 yards deep) and about 4-5 cranes in each bay.
They will oversee all facets of production from the welding of large structural steel/metals, rolling out materials, grinding, rigging, messer cutting, subarc, rolling shelves for drums, silos, baghouses, burner, control houses, etc. They will assist with troubleshooting when machines, dies, jigs, positioners, and fixtures are down. They will focus on safety, cost saving initiatives, creating a strong culture within the facility, and will handle all training, coaching, and development of the employees. They will handle scheduling, reporting, root cause analysis, etc.

Skills and Requirements
10 years' experience working in a large industrial manufacturing OR millwright environment experience
* 3+ years of experience as a supervisor/lead
* Experience working with custom-made manufactured equipment, dealing with different work orders
* Strong welding, prefer MIG
* Ability to read blueprints and bill of materials (BOMs)
* Excel experience
* ERP experience, such as Evicore or Oracle
*LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives null
