Job Description
Position Overview
As the Senior Associate, Project Controls, you will be responsible for
managing project budgets, project scheduling, monthly financial
reporting, and support of Project Management during project development
and construction phases. The Senior Associate role will be heavily
focused on collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain an accurate
project cost forecast, updated project schedule, facilitate procurement
processes, and produce budget reports.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze the project\'s latest
Estimate at Completion cost forecast, reconcile project
expenditures, and lead monthly budget management reviews.
- Perform monthly project cost and variance analysis reporting to the
team and management\'s review to ensure that expenditures are kept
within the project budget.
- Monitor and proactively identify financial risks, opportunities, and
mitigation strategies to ensure the project is executed within
budget.
- Manage project financial activity of purchasing processes including
setting up new suppliers, creating purchase requisitions, managing
purchase orders, invoicing, and ensure timely payment distributions
in Oracle Fusion.
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure
including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from
suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project
expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, as directed by management
- Analyze and maintain project schedules to correlate scope changes
with project cost impacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, finance, construction, or a
related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Project Controls, Project
Management, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer
visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent solution-seeking, teamwork, collaboration, and
communication skills
- Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions and follow tasks to
completion with minimal direction
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Earned Value Analysis and scheduling experience in Primavera
- Experience with project coordination and management of projects with
multiple levels of interface between vendors, internal staff, and
other stakeholders
