Serco Senior Financial Analyst in Indian Head, Maryland

Position Description

Looking foraFinancialAnalyst positionthat supportsthe mission ofNAVSEANSWand the extended Special Operations Force community? ThisSercopositionwill support NAVSEAas a primefor the contractresponsible forproviding professional, administrative, engineering, and technical support services.

You willwork witha large teamof engineering and analysis supportemployeesacross the spectrum of Acquisition and Program Management functions.

In this role,you will:

  • Report toand work closely withthe Program Manager.

  • Be on site at Government facility but work collaboratively with other employees at contractor site during normal working hours.

  • Assist with developing and managing yearly spend plans.

  • Assist with developing POM/BES inputs.

  • Manage obligation and expense rates to ensure compliance with OSD targets.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • AnactiveSecretclearance

  • a Bachelors degree

  • A minimum of 10 years in business or managementrelated disciplines.

  • Demonstrated work experience as a senior financial analystwithin the NAVSEAEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/DoD Contracting environment; preferably as aBusinessFinancial Manager (BFM) or as a contract support analyst toa NAVSEA BFM supporting a MPM’soffice

  • Demonstrated work experience managing, coordinating, and successfully executing MajorForce Programs (MFP) 2 and MFP 11(USSOCOM) resources in support of SOFrequirements

  • Expert working knowledge of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)/Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)/Mechanization of ContractAdministration Services (MOCAS) accounting and disbursingsystems

  • Sound working knowledge of the OPNAV/NAVSEA programand budgetprocesses

  • Expert working knowledge of managingobligation and expense rates to ensure compliancewith OSDtargets

  • Demonstrated working experience developing and managing yearlyspendplans

  • Demonstrated working experience developing POM/BESinputs

  • Demonstratedproficiencywith Microsoft Office products/services;Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • The ability to travel up to 10%.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Graduate degree in business or management related disciplines
