This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays &
Sundays as needed, from 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. (flex as needed).

necessary. Additional compensation is provided for the 6th and 7th
workdays.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for all aspects of plant
maintenance coordination including leading and directing maintenance
technicians. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff. Assist the
Maintenance Manager to direct and coordinate maintenance policies and
procedures while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Manage and
oversee the preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment. Quickly
assess problems to minimize downtime of production. Must possess
knowledge of safety, food safety and GMP practices. Ability to ensure
all maintenance employees understand and follow the company policies and
procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, coordinate, and implement all operational and maintenance
activities including corrective maintenance, preventative
maintenance, and predictive maintenance for PLC controlled
production equipment including but not limited to: scales; dumpers;
mixers; cookers; chillers; slicers; tray formers; case formers;
conveyors; robots; palletizers; pallet wrappers; and ancillary
compressed air, water, steam, gas, electrical, pumping, and control
systems.
- Reports to the Engineering Maintenance Manager and directs a staff
of Maintenance Technicians working in a state of the art; team
based, and highly automated meat processing facility.
- Utilize technical and leadership skills, advanced maintenance
systems and techniques to direct the safe and efficient operation of
all production and ancillary equipment while developing all direct
reports.
- Must comply with Tyson Foods, OSHA, EPA, and other state and local
regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: HS Diploma, Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
Experience: 3 plus years of Industrial Maintenance experience. Food
manufacturing experience preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent Verbal and written communication
skills.
Special Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities
Supervisory: 1 year supervisory experience preferred
Travel: 0-3 trips annually.
Physical: Able to lift 40 pounds. Able to bend, twist, and stand for
long periods of time.
