Responsible and accountable for continuous improvement and efficiencies across the Company’s products, systems, operations, and processes. Likely to lead a team of people and have CCI saving and cost reporting responsibility.
Working with the senior management Team, operations, and functional team, develop, set the pace, and implement business transformational and continuous improvement strategy with sensitivity towards the organizational structure, commercial approach, culture, people and processes. Outline direction and deployment of the Lean framework to ensure consistent and rigorous application across the business in line with best practice. Responsible for the successful management and implementation of business improvement projects/initiatives across the business
Strategy and Development
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures and improve operational performance
Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Lean activities
General and task management
Lead, define and develop continuous improvement activities designed to improve operations performance base on sale forecast, and business situation such as site transformation, Lean, 6S , Kaizen events and linked outcomes to business result
Develop team capabilities by create instruction of of Lean tools, setup lean training plan, linked to lean events , ensure relevant on-going learning and development of all employees in lean improvement, communication methods
Driving continuous improvement culture by suggestion system, conduct and organize CI meeting, Small group activities, Manage kaizen team to support initiative suggestions, kaizen event etc..
Proactively contribute to creating a good team, strong 5S organization and EHS workplace
Coach, facilitate teams and individuals to identify and implement improvement opportunities, Provide expertise, professional advice and guidance to the business in Tier meeting and lean events
Provide and able to present lean key performance report such as CPEx saving , % transformation areas , Number of kaizen / suggestion , % people development , 6S score , TAT , Lean assessment score etc..
Financial and budget
Responsible for achieving budget and forecast
Prepare the annual Lean budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals
Bachelor or higher degree in industrial engineering is preferred
Minimum 5-10 years of working experience, preferably in manufacturing or factory and 3-5 years of management level
Background in people management and project management
Black belt / Lean master / Lean certificated / or equivalent qualification
Good command of English (speaking, reading and writing) and computer literate
Knowledge with Standard Procedure Manual (SPM) and Quality Manual, ISO
