Understanding of residential/commercial construction techniques. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Prior experience reading blueprints and specification manuals and applying information to the project. Proven experience with effective analytical skills and attention to detail. Technology: Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Planswift, STACK Estimating, Pantera Planroom) and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient in MS word and Excel. Ability to learn new estimating software such as Stack and Bluebeam. Required knowledge and skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at one time. Ability to maintain a high degree of precision in detailed work. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally, electronically and in writing, with trade partners and HCG team. Ability to build effective relationships and work well in a team environment.
