Summary: Plans, organizes and monitors employees to achieve stated
production goals at the desired level outlined by the plant manager.
Essential Functions: To perform the job successfully, an individual
should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential
functions of this position:
- Demonstrate the ability to lead people and get results through

- Plan ahead and prepare action plans to achieve results.
- Conduct employee performance reviews and discipline.
- Develop a positive work environment.
- Ensures shipping, receiving, storage, distribution and production
are performed in an efficient manner.
- Makes employee decisions including interview, selection and
retention of employees.
- Conduct employee training, career counseling, and development.
- Continually review production requirements and assign employees to
the correct work area.
- Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of
safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.
- Resolves employee issues through problem solving.
- Measures and maintains accuracy of inventory.
- Manages multiple problems.
- Coordinate daily workflow with other management personnel.
- Performs accident and near miss investigations.
- Conduct employee team meetings.
- All operations supervisors are expected to be available to work in
all areas of the operation.
- Promotes accurate, timely communication up and down the organization
to ensure priority issues are addressed.
- Sets an example to co-workers.
- Coordinate daily workflow with other warehouse personnel.
- Ensures the work areas are appropriately maintained and correct any
unsafe conditions immediately.
