As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations by conducting various scientific experiments, tests, and analyses. Your responsibilities will include performing laboratory procedures, maintaining equipment, recording data, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1.Experiment Preparation: Prepare materials, solutions, and equipment for scientificexperiments and tests according to established protocols and procedures. 2.Laboratory Testing: Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses, whichmay include chemical and physical testing depending on the nature of the researchor project. 3.Data Collection and Recording: Accurately record and document experimentalprocedures, observations, and results using laboratory notebooks, computersoftware, or other designated systems. 4.Equipment Maintenance: Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation inproper working condition by performing routine maintenance, calibrations, andtroubleshooting as needed. 5.Quality Control: Follow quality control protocols to ensure the accuracy andreliability of test results. Adhere to quality assurance standards and participate inquality improvement initiatives as required. 6.Compliance and Safety: Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures toprevent accidents, injuries, or exposure to hazardous materials. Ensure compliancewith regulatory requirements and industry standards for laboratory operations. 7.Inventory Management: Manage laboratory supplies and inventory levels bymonitoring stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining organizedstorage areas. 8.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other laboratory staff tocoordinate experiments, share information, and troubleshoot issues. Communicatefindings, progress, and any concerns effectively to supervisors or team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field such chemistry or a related discipline. Previous experience working in a laboratory setting preferred but not required forentry-level positions. Strong understanding of scientific principles and laboratory techniques. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting experiments and recording data. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimalsupervision. Salary: $34,000 annual Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while conducting experiments or working at laboratory benches. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling laboratory equipment and instruments. Ability to lift and move laboratory supplies or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
