Job Summary:

Quality Systems and Compliance Discipline Manages and/or oversees the Quality Management System (QMS), processes, procedures, requirements, contracts, and metrics, to ensure the organization’s compliance, Evaluates the compliance and effectiveness of the QMS of business sites, and programs. Works with other functions to ensure systems are compliant, efficient and can deliver to customer requirements. Audit team members develop, conduct, and support audits including providing feedback on non-compliance and corrective action(s). Determines if all products and processes are aligned with regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recommends functional strategies and operational plans with direct impact on results.

  • Influences business decisions made by leadership.

  • Establishes and implements critical functional strategies and operational plans for the area of responsibility, with impact on the achievement of results.

  • Problems and issues faced are complex and multi-dimensional, requiring broad-based consideration of variables that impact multiple areas of the organization.

  • Requires ability to communicate with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization. Frequently conducts briefings to senior leaders both within and outside of the function.

  • Recommends critical quality compliance operational plans to ensure achievement of medium to long-term goals for compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

  • Provides expertise in interpreting policies, government regulations and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards.

  • Performs substantial development of processes and plans for the implementation of minimum standards and the utilization of tools and methods to ensure the effectiveness of existing quality processes and sustained quality performance improvements.

  • Leads quality compliance audit and audit resolution processes, developing corrective actions and process re-engineering solutions in response to results.

  • Promotes external best practice sharing to further improve quality assurance and compliance with recognized standards.

Qualifications:

  • +12 years in positions related to QMS Management.

  • Extensive QMS management experience.

  • Strong communication skills with all levels of an organization.

  • Negotiation skills.

  • Complex problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience managing high level project.

  • Expertise in RRCA tools.

  • AS9100 experience and knowledge.

  • Audit management, knowledge, and previous experience.
