JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Regional Senior Materials Manager will lead supply
chain and materials management initiatives across a specified region,
working directly with Couplings division sites and cross-functionally to
improve material flow, inventory management, and SIOP. This position
will act as a subject matter expert to help lead the implementation of
strategic initiatives, standard work, and best practices. Reporting to
the Couplings Director of Materials Management, this position will play
a crucial role in driving towards optimized inventory, an effective SIOP
process, and shaping Materials Management into a strategic enabler of
overall business objectives. Responsibilities Lead supply chain and
materials management initiatives across specified region, interacting
directly with regional plants to implement strategic priorities and meet
key metrics. Work cross-regionally as needed to improve intercompany
processes and communication Help define and implement Materials planning
strategies, plan for every part, supplier performance monitoring,
standard work, and metrics. Support sites for monthly Materials Reviews
of key metrics, action plan progress, and escalations. Provide coaching
on ways to improve metrics, visual management, performance, and
predictability. Champion RBS tools to identify root causes,
countermeasures, and action plans. Provide support in data analysis and
problem solving and help build site-level capabilities in these skills.
Participate and/or lead kaizen events. Responsible for Regional Excess &
Obsolete (E&O) reserve management. Work with sites and
cross-functionally to drive visibility and resolution. Proactively
identify & manage upcoming risk Provide functional expertise and
coaching to key site stakeholders. Guide work and performance
expectations through indirect leadership. Support talent assessment and
development. Engage with business and segment-level Supply Chain
leadership to define and deploy standardized tools and processes to
support Materials initiatives. Participate in Materials & SIOP Councils
to shape segment-level strategy. Represent Couplings to make sure
tools/processes are outcome-based and adaptable to Couplings business
model. Partners with sites, COE, and IT to improve ERP data quality and
usage. Act as subject matter expert as needed or seek support from other
resources to improve system signals and processes Oversee Regional SIOP
process and continuous improvement. Ensure plant process supports timely
regional roll-up, identifies risks, and meets specified targets.
Experience & Skills: BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Business or related
field or equivalent education and experience. Minimum of 7 years\'
