Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Category Manager - Non Ferrous Castings.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Category Manager, Non Ferrous Castings to join our team. This position will be based at any Eaton facility in the U.S. The position will be eligible for a hybrid work setup. This position will require 25% travel.

Position Overview:

You will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for approximately $30M of Aerospace castings spend for North America. You will drive category performance towards optimal conditions (cost, commercial, working capital, quality, delivery, resiliency, and VAVE) by leveraging synergies across businesses and driving the “One Eaton” philosophy through collaboration with business stakeholders. Our supply chain management team creates bottom-line impact by driving cost management and operational benefits. Within our supply chain, the Category Manager, NF Castings supports the development and deployment of the global category strategy of casting components in the North America region. In this role, you will drive towards optimal conditions (cost, commercial, quality, delivery, innovation, VAVE) for the Aerospace Group's Castings category by leveraging synergies across businesses and driving the “One Supply Chain” philosophy.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will support development of and deploy strategic initiatives to facilitate cross-business synergies across a rationalized set of global and regional preferred supplier partners.

• You will negotiate and manage key strategic supplier contracts and relationships.

• You will review, approve, monitor and report compliance to category agreements and strategies based upon Eaton SCM strategic directions.

• You will plan, prepare and execute annual profit planning for the owned spend, and support execution with the business cross functional teams.

• You will lead Supplier Business Reviews with strategic suppliers annually.

• You will identify potential financial / operational threats to the business and develop/deploy proactive supplier risk mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity.

• You will facilitate the cross-functional team in effectively managing financially distressed supplier situations with high visibility to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in Category Management or Procurement or a minimum of 7 years' professional experience in Supply Chain or Operations.

• No relocation is being offered for this role, candidates must live within a 50 mile radius of an Eaton site to be considered.

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Preferred qualifications:

• 3+ years’ professional negotiating experience in a global business environment.

• 2+ years’ professional experience with accountability across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Skills:
