Description: This position supports strategic programs essential to
maintaining program readiness. The successful Associate Manager,
Manufacturing Engineering will be responsible for overseeing work in the
areas of manufacturing engineering and technical production support.
This individual will have responsibility to ensure group goals and
objectives are met, review and make recommendations on policies and
procedures to maximize group operating performance, identify technical
issues of future importance, and provide guidance to the team on
development, performance, and productivity issues. This position is
responsible for moderate understanding of the overall organization and
typically supervises engineers, technicians, and co-ops. Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In
lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills: Bachelor\'s degree in Manufacturing
Engineering 2-5 years of management or supervisory experience in
directing engineers or technicians Demonstrated skills and experience in
drawing practices, engineering analysis, DoD development programs,
procurement, integration, assembly, and test of hardware Experience in
the defense or aerospace industry Creo, Solidworks, 3D modeling w/ 2D
drawing & GD&T exposure Lean certification(s) Lean Expert, GreenBelt,
