Quality Control Lab Technician – St. Louis, MO
Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for 1 qualified, full-time, temporary to potential permanent, QC Technician for one of our clients. The position is in St. Louis, MO, and the need to fill this position is immediate.
Responsibilities:
Perform quarantine and release procedures for critical material.
Order approved reagents and materials for the lab.
Investigate temperature and humidity excursions.
Review internal installation and maintenance records.
Prepare documents for periodic review.
Review data and reports to ensure integrity.
Promote turn-around-time expectations of sample results.
Collaborate with QA and management to ensure laboratory procedures comply with ISO13485 and CLIA requirements.
Update and create SOPs, forms, and logs to reflect current laboratory status and procedures.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Test and review spreadsheets during validations.
Adhere to all quality, privacy, and safety standards within the company and applicable regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree or higher in chemistry, biology, or related field preferred.
2+ years’ work experience in a research or clinical laboratory preferred.
Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to maintain workflow and work productively in meeting critical milestones.
Experience with MS Office (especially Excel) and database entry.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively.
Proper understanding of all applicable biosafety rules, policies, and procedures
Pay: $23-24/hr
Hours: M-F 8A – 5P
