JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Deposit Operations Assistant posts, processes, and
maintains transactions and accounts. This position uses technology and
computer software to enhance customer services, efficiencies and
workflow. The Deposit Operations Assistant follows policies / procedures
and adheres to compliance laws and regulations of the department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES Posting transactions by: Entering in dollar
transactions Daily Tasks/Report review Processing NSF and non-post
information from the Exception Item Module Verifying prior day
transactions and account maintenance Verifying Maintenance on Accounts
Address Changes Rate Changes Account type changes Processing Demand
Deposit, Savings and Certificates of Deposit by: Processing worksheets
received from Personal Bankers Address Changes Rate Changes Account type
changes Printing notices and interest checks Actively working with
clients to get interest checks converted to ACH Checking maintenance
reports to verify new / cancelled accounts Verifying prior day
transactions and account maintenance Posting Internal account recon-CRS
Coordinating stop payment processing Entering charge back processing
Processing and tracking account refunds Sourcing and following up on
client research and requests Processing Teller Alert reports Maintaining
system and account maintenance by: Reviewing maintenance reports, and
Teller Alerts to validate and / or take action as required Providing
system verifications and account maintenance Emailing address name line
1, and business analytics reports Monitoring new mobile customers for
correct set-up Coordinating statement requests Processing weekly saving
Deposit Rate sheets in Director Balancing general ledger accounts
Conducting Director maintenance - scanned documents and controls Setting
up scheduled and balanced protection for customers Updating documents
Sending daily mailing of EIM notices SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES Seeks
ways to streamline services / workflow to improve efficiencies Provides
back-up coverage to switchboard as needed Provides customer service as
needed, including research, address updates, photocopying, etc. Scans,
indexes and re-indexes as needed Provides back-up to other areas within
Deposit Operations as requested Other duties as assigned Bank of Sun
