Purpose and Scope: The Quality Engineer II will perform various quality
administrative support duties including customer contract reviews,
supplier quality requirement flow downs, and preparation of quality data
analysis to support the overall quality management system and main
quality KPI\'s.
Roles and Responsibilities:
CUSTOMER
Support Quality Engineers with customer complaints and product returns.
Support customer on site audits and evaluations.
Interpret customer specifications, drawing notes and requirements.
QUALITY SYSTEM AND TACTICAL TASKS
Manage and execute tactical QE tasks; MRRs, CARs, MRB dispositions, QC
Items, Purges, VIRs (+ RFI, RFV and QN), QC Approvals, SDMRs, VFP,WO,
Drawing and DCN revision.
Collaborate in the design, implementation and utilization of formal
Quality tools; process mapping, FMEA\'s, control plans, Process
Controls, structured problem solving and CI, engaging internal
stakeholders and external partners.
Assist with Gage R&R (gage repeatability and reproducibility) studies,
defining inspection methods and equipment.
Define supplier quality requirements, assure alignment to customer and
Sargent\'s requirements
Data entry into CSI system.
Support the QMS to Create, Revise and Update work instructions and
procedures.
Assist with First Article Inspection (FAI) planning and reviews.
Participate in the TIER II daily meeting reporting on MRRs and RMAs
status.
