As a Battery Chemist, you will be responsible for setting up and carrying out experiments that involve preparing chemical solutions, testing these solutions and reporting the experimental work. You will write Standard Operating Procedures for the experimental work. For another aspect of this position, you will support cell testing operations, which includes building test cells and operating the battery cycling equipment. In addition, your position will include opportunities to use your familiarity with analytical test equipment to assist in operating in-house tools as well as with third party testing contracts. Also, your position will include an OJT program with milestone objectives that should be completed within 6 months after your start date. We are a small organization that will work as a team and focus on client projects as well as some internal project work. In this position, your job responsibilities will include: ? Formulation and preparation of laboratory scale slurries and coatings ? Design of experiments / Project Planning ? Developing in-house data processing routines ? Managing in-house data base ? Building test cells / operating cycle tester and EIS equipment Every position at E3BV has responsibility to review safety of operations and will include monthly safety meetings.
