currently operates in two Divisions: OMG Roofing Products and
FastenMaster?. OMG Roofing Products is a leading global manufacturer and
supplier of value-added components for the commercial roofing industry.
The FastenMaster Division manufactures and markets innovative, premium
quality wood-to-wood fasteners that are engineered to enable
professional contractors to complete building projects safer, faster,
and easier. The Administrative Assistant receives guests and provides
direction and information. Reporting to the Office Manager, The
Administrative Assistant provides clerical support to all departments
within the organization. Position Responsibilities Promote Safety as the
Number One Priority of OMG employees. Provide guests with security
access and Safety Protocols. Prioritize Customer Service with internal
and external customers. Participate on Committees as needed. Direct
callers to destination and record name, nature of business, and person
called upon. Operates phone system to receive incoming calls and
messages as scheduled by Office Manager. Provide department backup as
needed. Operate all office machines, including Canon copiers & scanners,
printers, faxes, laminating machines and others. Manage company mail and
bulletin boards. Type memos, correspondence, labels, and other documents
as requested. Enter New Supplier data. Inventory and order office and
kitchen supplies. Assist with company lunches and events. Process sample
orders, stock and clean room as needed. Process UPS Shipments as needed.
Complete assigned projects in a timely manner. Perform other tasks as
assigned. Requirements Position Requirements High school diploma or
equivalent. Minimum of 3-5 years of administrative experience and/or
training preferred. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills. Strong PC skills with working knowledge
of Microsoft Office programs. Ability to type quickly and accurately,
preferably at a speed of 35 words per minute. Experience with Enterprise
Resource Planning systems preferred (QAD a plus). Ability to deal with
problems or customer conflicts in standardized situations. Strong sense
of responsibility and ownership, and able to work as a team player.
Positive \"can do\" attitude! Physical Requirements Ability to operate a
motor vehicle while maintaining focus on safe driving and avoiding all
distractions when behind the wheel, especially cell phones. Ability to
stand, walk and sit for long periods of time; talk and hear, both in
person and by telephone; handle or feel objects or controls, reach with
hands and arms; and occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 25 pounds.
