Recruitment Information:
This contract position is located with the State of Hawaii, Department of Law Enforcement, Hawaii Office of Homeland Security (OHS), Planning and Operations Branch.
This position is located on the Island of Oahu.

Duties Summary:
The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist is responsible for the development and management of the Critical Infrastructure -- Common Operating Picture (CI-COP) platform to ensure compatibility with Planning and Operations Branch and its statewide Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Program guidance and standards for GIS program design, development, data integration and integrity, map production, and visualization tooling. The incumbent will serve as coordinator for systematic collection, storage, sharing, and retrieval of relevant critical infrastructure data elements and data sharing agreement documentation; analytical tool integrations/utilization; and user/user hub management under the direction of the Chief, Planning and Operations.

Required Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities.
- Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform, to include the following technologies: o ArcGIS Pro
o ArcGIS Enterprise
o ArcGIS Online
o ArcGIS Hub Premium
o ArcGIS Experience Builder
o ArcGIS Survey123
o ArcGIS Field Maps
o ArcGIS Instant Apps
Additional Qualifications Recommended:
Possess a current valid Driver's License to operate a vehicle in the State of Hawaii.

Contract Term:
The term of the contract is one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability.
The contract agreement (D 45) states that the contractor is not a State employee and is not entitled to claim or receive from the State any vacation, sick leave, retirement, or other benefits Provided to State employees.
