Position Overview:
As a Production Supervisor for our 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), you'll be responsible for overseeing the production process from start to finish, ensuring product quality, safety compliance, and meeting production goals. You'll lead a team of production workers, resolve any issues that arise, and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the production process from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
Supervise the 2nd shift team , providing guidance, motivation, and support to maintain high productivity.
Troubleshoot production or machine-related issues quickly and efficiently to keep the production line running smoothly.
Ensure that all products meet quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
Monitor inventory and order materials as necessary to avoid any disruptions.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of production data, costs , and inventory levels .
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Instruct the team on how to respond to production abnormalities and challenges.
Consult with senior management to solve complex issues as needed.
Support operators in resolving production challenges, fostering a collaborative and problem-solving environment.
Monitor the team to ensure they remain focused on their tasks and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, efficient work environment, ensuring compliance with 5S practices and equipment upkeep.
Continuously seek ways to improve the work area for better productivity and safety.
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of Supervisory/Management experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
3+ years of experience in CNC programming and setup (a plus!).
Machine maintenance experience is a strong plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel .
Strong leadership, interpersonal , and communication skills (both verbal and written).
In-depth understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management , and safety regulations (OSHA).
Ability to train and guide a team in both operational and technical aspects of production.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a production-based environment .
Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and lifting up to 20-40 lbs .
CNC and machinery maintenance training opportunities are available.
Position Details:
2nd Shift hours : Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
Annual Salary Range : $56,160 – $58,240.
Location : Aiken, SC
Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
