Production Supervisor (2nd Shift – 3PM to 11PM)

Position Overview:

As a Production Supervisor for our 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), you'll be responsible for overseeing the production process from start to finish, ensuring product quality, safety compliance, and meeting production goals. You'll lead a team of production workers, resolve any issues that arise, and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production process from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.

  • Supervise the 2nd shift team , providing guidance, motivation, and support to maintain high productivity.

  • Troubleshoot production or machine-related issues quickly and efficiently to keep the production line running smoothly.

  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and exceed customer expectations.

  • Monitor inventory and order materials as necessary to avoid any disruptions.

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.

  • Maintain accurate records of production data, costs , and inventory levels .

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Instruct the team on how to respond to production abnormalities and challenges.

  • Consult with senior management to solve complex issues as needed.

  • Support operators in resolving production challenges, fostering a collaborative and problem-solving environment.

  • Monitor the team to ensure they remain focused on their tasks and adhere to safety and quality standards.

  • Maintain a clean, efficient work environment, ensuring compliance with 5S practices and equipment upkeep.

  • Continuously seek ways to improve the work area for better productivity and safety.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Supervisory/Management experience in a manufacturing or production setting.

  • 3+ years of experience in CNC programming and setup (a plus!).

  • Machine maintenance experience is a strong plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel .

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal , and communication skills (both verbal and written).

  • In-depth understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management , and safety regulations (OSHA).

  • Ability to train and guide a team in both operational and technical aspects of production.

Work Environment:

  • This position is based in a production-based environment .

  • Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and lifting up to 20-40 lbs .

  • CNC and machinery maintenance training opportunities are available.

Position Details:

  • 2nd Shift hours : Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

  • Annual Salary Range : $56,160 – $58,240.

  • Location : Aiken, SC

  • Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
