AIRCRAFT MECHANIC: Richmor Aviation, Inc., founded in 1967 with over 50 years of proud service to the aviation community is seeking additional aircraft maintenance personnel to support its operations.The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties required or physical demands for people assigned.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance of aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Perform FAA required inspections and scheduled maintenance on aircraft. Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft as required. Provide airworthiness releases in accordance with company manuals. Troubleshoot aircraft systems to allow for prompt return to service. Properly document maintenance performed in accordance with FAA requirements and company manuals. Follow company and regulatory agency safety precautions, procedures, practices and regulations. All other duties as assigned.On occasion, work overtime and travel as needed. Mechanics occasionally work at different Richmor bases. Primary base will be decided upon resume review. Richmor seeking adding a new mechanic to Richmor's Hudson facility and another to our Schenectady facility.Be on-call before or after regular working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays (rotating schedule with other mechanics).Physical Demands & Work Environment - Frequently the employee must lift or pull heavy objects. The employee will often be required to sit, stand, or kneel in awkward positions to perform the required maintenance. The work environment is indoor/outdoor. The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderate to loud. The employee will often stand on ladders, scaffolds, or use powered lifts.Qualifications - meet FAA requirements and hold a current and violation free FAA A&P licenseFull time positionCompensation - is commensurate with experience.Benefit package (401K plan, health benefits, etc.).About Richmor Aviation:Richmor Aviation owns and operates three F.B.O.s, two of which are FAA certified repair stations located in Hudson NY and Schenectady NY. Our third F.B.O. is located in Kingston, NY. Richmor’s maintenance personnel maintain our turboprop & jet charter / management fleet aircraft that are manufactured by Beechcraft, Bombardier, Dassault, and Gulfstream. They also maintain our flight school fleet of Cessna aircraft. Besides our own, Richmor also supports a wide variety of piston, turboprop, & jet customer aircraft.
