The Senior Business Analyst role for the Amex GBT Egencia Change team sits within the Planning and Operations organization. Your role will be to partner with business leaders and stakeholders to help identify their business requirements to that their teams operate more productively and without friction across other functions in line with the organizations objectives.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the products built have appropriate requirements, prioritization, and the product or solution is delivered to a high quality. Ultimately, this contributes to optimize the teams’ abilities to deliver results. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate career growth as a Business Analysis and can contribute and influence the long-term vision of the Change Team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with Salesforce stakeholders, functional leads, and Salesforce product managers across Egencia to collect, identify, and define business needs

  • Create strong relationships across Commercial and Customer Operations, Marketing, and Global Product teams

  • Partner closely with the Salesforce Centre of Excellence, User Experience, and Knowledge Enablement teams to deliver high quality, scalable solutions that drives productivity to the end user

  • Collaborate with internal functional teams to translate business needs into business requirement specifications.

  • Present project specifications to all levels of the business, including executive leadership

  • Perform issue severity assessment based on impact to the business, and prioritize accordingly

  • Influence and improve how the business analysts collate their documents including, BRDs and FRDs

  • Maintain a holistic view of Salesforce system processes to understand functional impacts for current & future projects

  • Identify capabilities in Salesforce that bridge gaps in efficiency and productivity

  • Actively research new technology trends and share insights with your team so that we continue to innovate and improve our system processes.

  • Define a set of success metrics to measure productivity, customer satisfaction, and business impact and be able to utilize them in decision-making.

  • Apply learning to deployments of replacement products and platforms

  • Create development testing plan and support training for user acceptance testing

  • Collaborate with project and program managers to help facilitate change as required

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years in a business analyst role, or product role preferably in a sales or service organization supported by a CRM system

  • Project management experience not required but highly recommended

  • 5+ years experience with Salesforce.com sales and/or CPQ cloud, experience cloud, service cloud

  • Salesforce Admin or Business Analyst Certification is an advantage

  • Experience working with APIs and web services technology, Windows O/S platforms

  • Strong MS Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Understand the software development lifecycle

  • Able to clearly capture technological requirements, guide internal teams' development, and assist with testing and implementation

  • Able to analyze underlying issues and symptoms reported by users

  • Data driven; able to build and analyze metrics and reports

  • Communicates authentically and has a strong business sense

  • Excellent time-management, organizational and interpersonal skills, A great teammate - curious and growth mindset

Due to business needs, the ideal candidate should be based in Central or Eastern timezone.

The Company has good cause to conduct a review of criminal history for this specific position based on the job duties (see listed job duties above) and because the role will involve access to credit card data and confidential client information or data, as well as highly sensitive proprietary corporate information.

Illinois, United States

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $46,000 to $93,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that Egencia expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
