Duties Description DUTIES DESCRIPTION:1. Review of business documentation (such as mockups, business requirements, field analysis, etc.) that is developed by the Business Analysists in conjunction with the end user agency2. Writing of test cases based upon business documentation3. Execution of test cases during scheduled QA system testing, in addition to ad-hoc testing4. Reporting defects found during system testing in the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) defect management and testing tool5. Working with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify issues found towards the goal of resolving the issues6. Re-testing of fixed issues after new code is deployed7. Regression testing after new builds are deployed8. Learning how to create, update, and execute automation regression test scripts utilizing VB Script within the Unified Functional Testing tool9. Learning how to create, update, and execute performance test scripts utilizing LoadRunner10. Attendance at scrums, meetings, and stand-up calls with developers, business analysts, project managers, and the end user agency11. Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:• Currently enrolled in a higher education institution, pursuing a degree in Information Technology, or related field.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Familiarity with testing applications or application development.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, in a fast-paced environment
Additional Comments TELECOMMUTING INFORMATION: Initially positions work full-time in the office and a hybrid telecommuting schedule of up to 50% remote work can be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview. *NOTE: Qualifying candidates must be available to work part-time through the end of the current semester and full-time, 37.5 hours per week once the current semester ends. It is anticipated that candidates will begin full-time employment mid to late May.
