Here, you will make an impact by:Providing technical product and process leadership for coated abrasive productsPerforming as the key contact in the plant for product-related activities involving qualification and launch of new productsSupporting issue resolution and communication efforts with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholdersLeading product EHS, quality and cost improvement effortsGrowing our business by providing manufacturing cost estimates for new and existing productsProviding support for round-the-clock manufacturing operations as neededCompany Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this positionYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (completed and verified prior to start)Two years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environmentCurrent, Valid Drivers license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this positionAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Strong interpersonal skills, with previous project management experience using cross-functional resourcesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced team environmentand manage multiple projects concurrentlyGood oral and written communication skillsWork location:3M Alexandria, MNTravel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: Is authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
