These machines are used to excavate, load, and transport earth, rock, and other materials on construction sites. The Scraper Operator plays a crucial role in earthmoving and site preparation projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in all operations. Responsibilities: Maneuver the scraper safely and accurately to avoid damage to property, underground utilities, or other equipment. While operating equipment, maintain clear and effective communication with the site supervisor, team members, and ground personnel using verbal and non-verbal hand signals. Prioritize safety at all times, following company and industry safety guidelines and protocols. Perform routine maintenance on the scraper, such as greasing, checking fluid levels, and cleaning the equipment. Operate scrapers and other heavy equipment to perform tasks such as grading, leveling, excavating, and pushing materials. Maneuver the scraper to dig, load, and transport materials as required. Load materials, such as dirt, gravel, or other construction materials, into the scraper's bowl or pan. Transport materials to designated areas on the construction site, maintaining a consistent speed and load distribution.
