DESCRIPTION OF WORK The primary objective of this position is to promote collaboration across different systems and involve families as equal partners. You will serve as a valuable resource, offering technical support to child/adolescent agencies, families, schools, and providers through training sessions and consultations. It is crucial to possess a deep understanding of program regulations within child and adolescent service systems, including the structure, functions, laws, policies, funding, and local practices of each system. You will conduct comprehensive training sessions on CASSP for child service agencies, providers, schools, and graduate classes, while engaging in collaborative efforts to explore available community resources. Additionally, you will actively participate in meetings to assess the effectiveness of existing services for children and families in the county, identifying any gaps or limitations in services. This will help in proposing potential changes to enhance the current system and better support the needs of children and families.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Permanent part-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of professional level experience in the field of mental health; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, or Schuylkill counties. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
