The HR Manager will partner with the Legend leadership team to manage the human resource function for the facility by developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

   

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and administer the human resource function for the facility.
  • Manage full cycle recruitment for facility utilizing HRIS applications, participating in the recruitment process, and making      recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls to verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company's value.
  • Utilize HRIS to administer employee health, dental, vision, life insurance, and assist with Workers Compensation claims.
  • Manage annual open enrollment period each year.  Arrange for distribution of materials from carriers, assisting with communicating changes to employees and arranging for on-site representation by providers, as needed.  
  • Process documentation for new employees and record necessary information into the HRIS.
  • Maintain and updates payroll records with employee information, such      as transfers, wage increases, resignations, performance data.
  • Administer time and labor entries and corrections with the assistance of direct supervisors.
  • Completes payroll including garnishments, commissions, and other calculations.
  • Develop and provide leadership training as needed.
  • Participate in leadership meetings including the maintenance and creation of KPIs utilizing data to make recommendations.  
  • Represents the organization at community events, job fairs, etc.
  • Manages employee appreciation events including quarterly meals, adhoc meals, anniversaries, holiday take homes, etc.
  • Partner with the safety department to reduce injuries, hazards, and associated costs.
  • Lead employee investigations, as needed in partnership with leadership.  
  • Maintains employee handbook, makes recommendations for change as needed based upon trends or compliance.  
  • Mentors employees on all Legend-ary GREATS values (grit, responsibility, engagement, accountability, teamwork and safety)

Requirements

::: {bind="html: Job.Requirements"} - At least 3 years of human resources experience supporting a manufacturing facility. Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or a similar field strongly preferred  - Experience updating and maintaining an HRIS, preferably Paylocity. - Strong analytic skill - Prefer SHRM-CP or PHR certification(s).  :::
