Our client, a nationally recognized electrical power and control systems engineering firm, is seeking a SCADA Systems Engineer to join their team. As a SCADA Engineer you will be part of the engineering team supporting innovative electrical power offerings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: SCADA Systems Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay Range: $110,000 - $125,000+ DOE
What's the Job?
Develop settings files for SEL protection relays and similar devices.
Configure SEL RTACs, including data concentration, HMI, and logic.
Integrate electrical SCADA information with OSI AspenTech or similar platforms.
Perform onsite programming, field testing, and commissioning of electrical protection, control, and SCADA systems.
Develop comprehensive electrical construction packages for the installation of protection, control, and SCADA systems.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
4-8 years of experience with programming and configuring SEL RTACs.
Recent experience in integrating electrical SCADA systems.
In-depth knowledge of communication protocols such as DNP3, MMS, and GOOSE.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
