Company in Alvarado has 4+ month for Senior Financial Analyst.
This is a 4+ month contract for SFA project.
A Senior Financial Analyst is sought by a Apparel Manufacturing company for a long-term contract / temporary project opportunity. The Senior Financial Analyst consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for such financial issues as project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting. You will also implement analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements and also offer decision-making support for future company investments. This Senior Financial Analyst will be placed at the Alvarado, Texas office.

Power existing management reporting by evaluating financial results, distilling and synthesizing issues, and articulating key updates to senior-level staff
Cultivate business performance through the use and execution of financial analysis
Handle ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
Influence the development of repeatable business, operational, and financial processes for all necessary teams
Manage advantageous relationships with Finance/Accounting leadership of integral business partners
Coordinate with Operations and Accounting to discreetly and accurately track financial results in order to drive improved management reporting
Work closely with the Functional leads to provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance plus ensure alignment of operational initiatives
Analyze financial results, distill/synthesize key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate critical updates to senior leadership all in the course of preparing monthly and quarterly management reports

Requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
CPA or MBA preferred
Highly-accomplished in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Applicants are required to hold a Finance, Business, or related field BA/BS degree
Net Sales experience
Account analysis experience preferred
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint
Able to work across teams and gain consensus of a group of individuals
Track-record in process reengineering and optimization
Able to think critically and operate effectively with management
