Job Description:

Summary

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECpE) seeks a part-time CyMath Coordinator (Customer Relations Coordinator III) to support the ISU CyMath program stakeholders and Director. This position provides a unique and impactful opportunity to contribute to the CyMath program (https://cymath.iastate.edu/), a free mathematics tutoring program that supports elementary school students and strives to complement the cumulative nature of mathematics education at an early age.

Working with the Director to build relationships to expand the program, you will assist with outreach and marketing materials, provide administrative and customer service support, organize activities and coordinate events, and manage projects for the program. You will also work closely with tutors (primarily volunteer graduate students in ECpE, math, statistics, and similar disciplines), student participants, parents, educators, and administrators to implement program objectives. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills to support collaboration amongst stakeholders and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This is a part-time, fixed term position with expectation for renewal based on availability of funding. The anticipated schedule will be 20 hours per week, with at least 10-15 hours performed on-site. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
