As a Lead Specialist, you'll be a key player on a high-performing team responsible for supporting and servicing commercial clients, ensuring the efficient processing of commercial monetary transactions, and overseeing loan maintenance. What You'll Do: * Support Commercial Clients: Act as a crucial point of contact for telephone and written requests, providing top-tier customer service to both internal and external clients. * Handle Critical Transactions: Accurately process monetary transactions, including Dollar Transaction Forms and Loan Initial Funding Requests through the Centralized Funding process. * Ensure System Integrity: Post DDA entries and handle general ledger entries using the Automated Posting Application (APA), balancing accounts and resolving discrepancies with the accounting team. * Maintain and Update Systems: Perform system maintenance tasks like setting up borrowing base and Advance Paydown ticklers, as well as other monetary and indicative system changes in CLS. * Process Requests and Resolve Issues: Manage a range of tasks such as researching misapplied payments, processing fee waiver requests, and providing resolution to billing inquiries, all while ensuring accurate and timely completion. * Identify Process Improvements: Regularly review procedures to identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring that processes are efficient and aligned with industry best practices. What You'll Bring: * Experience: At least 2+ years in commercial loan servicing, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and systems such as CLS/CL3 and LoanIQ. * Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: You'll be able to assess complex issues, research solutions, and make recommendations to improve workflows and processes. * Excellent Communication: Your ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders will be key to your success. * Attention to Detail: Whether balancing accounts or processing loan transactions, your meticulous attention to detail will ensure everything runs smoothly. * Leadership and Decision-Making: You'll be comfortable making independent decisions, and your leadership skills will help guide less experienced team members.
