Dive into a variety of fields within Quality, and expand your knowledge in regulations, licensing, storage & distribution and many more other fields! You have the opportunity to provide your expertise in the Dutch market for both our areas Animal Health - AH (60%) and Human Pharma – HP (40%) and contribute with different teams on new and innovating quality projects!

While supporting the Quality Compliance Manager AH and Quality Compliance Lead HP, you’ll handle operational quality activities such as local product releases, complaints, deviations and CAPAs, commercial sample management as well as administrative tasks and archiving.

This role is located in Amsterdam and you will be reporting to the Quality Compliance Manager AH.

Please note: this position is for 1 year with the possibility of an extension.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and perform an initial check of the data for the local administrative batch release of medicinal products, including identification of deviations and performing batch approval requests / following up with queries from local Health Authorities.

• Assist the Quality Compliance Manager and Quality Compliance Lead in handling Technical Product Complaints, Events, Deviations and CAPA’s, as described in the effective SOPs, ensuring correct, accurate and timely data entry into the database as well as follow up of cases.

• Maintains contacts with various parties, such as customers, local Health Authorities, colleagues from different departments within Boehringer Ingelheim and with MIDI/ Corporate, under supervision of the Quality Compliance Manager.

• Administrative tasks, such as management of physical mail/email boxes/invoices) and archiving of documents in the archiving system.

• Assist the Quality Compliance Manager and Quality Compliance Lead on various projects.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

• Bachelor or University Degree, in a pharma related field (Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Farmakunde).

• A first experience in the pharmaceutical industry or knowledge of Quality and/or Good Distribution Practices is considered a plus.

• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking.

• Excellent communication in Dutch and English, written and verbal.

• Accurate, precise, eager to learn and strong organizational skills.

• Proactive attitude and good communication skills.

• Working well in an international environment.
