Your day to day

At Crowne Plaza we look for a talented Operations Manager in charge of Housekeeping, Front Office, Restaurants & Bars and the Kitchen team. Our OM is genuine, passionate and connects with our guests, our people, our suppliers and our owners. Our General Manager is Area General Manager and while she is taking care of the other hotels you are in charge of the entire hotel. You love creating a great hotel guests love with your team by leading, empowering and building on their strengths. You ensure those team members can shine because you coach and guide them during their employee journey and provide them with the right tools and equipment to create guest loyalty through high service standards. You, our future Operations Manager enjoys living the Brand Standards, setting realistic but challenging targets and achieving goals by balancing short-term actions and decisions with longer-term impacts on the business in our hotel to drive results and future strategic plans.qualifications

What we need from you

Experience:The ideal candidate has a Bachelor or a Master degree, is a well experienced Hospitality Professional (>5 years) and likely to have the experience of an Operations Manager in a smaller hotel, or a Rooms Division Director with F&B experience on supervisor level, or a Hotel Assistant GM in a comparable full service hotel. Skills & Competences:You are fluent in English and preferably in Dutch.(Given the international corporate environment a third language is a preference)Great communication and writing skillsYou have a healthy drive for results and acting purposefully and resourcefully in overcoming challenges and mitigating risks whilst providing team with direction and alignment they need to deliver results.Great eye for detail with a one step ahead approachExperienced user of Microsoft Office, Opera, DelphiExcellent problem solver, who recognises challenges and encourages changes that could improve performance but most of all a great team player.
