Job Requisition: REQ2724 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Day Hours Per Week: 40 Hours
Hiring Range : $124,446.40- $171,412.80
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
• Directs the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of the department.
• Accountable for department staffing and capacity planning. Oversees the development, monitoring of and compliance with departmental budget(s).
• Utilizes broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct departmental operations and ensures accountability for the department's compliance.
• Develops and maintains effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors.
• Implements specialty quality initiatives in the areas of patient safety, the Joint Commission, specialty accreditation, and performance improvement.
• Participates in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment. Implements and monitors compliance with revenue integrity processes.
Complexity of Work:
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Minimum Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration: •
Required Credential(s):
• Pharmacist credentialed from the New York Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required. Master's degree preferred.
