Job Requisition: REQ2729 Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Location: Amsterdam Family Health Center
Hiring range: $17.17 -$22.32
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
Assists with treatments ordered by physician, as supervised by physician or Registered nurse.
Performs select clinical duties
Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on chart
Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patient
Performs basic clerical duties including answering phone, maintaining records and filing
Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies
Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Complexity of work: Within the scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment
Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using Personal Protective Equipment as required.
Minimum Qualifications: Required credentials: BLS provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer. Certified Medical Assistant- any issuing authority is acceptable.
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
Work experience: None required, willing to train.
