Hiring range: $ 99,933. - $135,945. The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and medication management to adult patients in an outpatient setting
Conduct psychodiagnostic evaluations
Conduct treatment through both telehealth and in-person visits as needed
Prescribe medications as appropriate while monitoring reactions to medication and adhearance to treatment plan
Maintain current, accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal law
Perform consultation and case management services as part of a larger care team
Initiate referrals to other providers as needed
Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Required Credential(s):
Certified and Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date.
PMHNP preferred
BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date.
