We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer for our Core HR Engineering team (Mumbai/Pune, India)
This is an Individual Contributor role.
In this role, you will…
Develop, maintain and enhance .NET applications and services to contribute to our legacy and cloud platform.
Triage customer product and technical issues/defects and provide timely resolution.
Look for opportunities to provide root cause fix and stop issues from re-occurring.
Focus on ‘first time right’ approach.
Partner with fellow engineers, product managers, and other team members as appropriate.
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of products.
Actively promote best Development practices
Lead projects as necessary in individual capacity, increasing team productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.
Participate in key architectural decisions and design considerations.
Collaborate with global Engineering, Product and Release teams, as necessary.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide detailed RCA.
You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have…
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
8+ years of web-based application development experience using ASP.NET, C#, .NET
Proficient experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL
Good hands-on experience working with Distributed Systems, Caching, and Multi-threaded applications
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, a keen sense of ownership, and a detail-oriented mindset
Effective communication & persuasion skills
Ability to effectively manage and correctly prioritize multiple streams of work
Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and project details
Experience delivering software in a Lean or Agile environment
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
Consideration for privacy and security obligations

Up-to-date experience with C#. .NET Framework, Optimization Techniques, T-SQL
Hands-on experience with AWS and Docker
Experience with continuous deployment
Experience developing Microservices, RESTful services, or other SOA development experience
Experience working with enterprise SaaS applications
Experience Working GIT, Confluence, and APM Tools like Splunk, New Relic, Datadog, etc.
