The Lead Program Manager is responsible for delivering large cross-functional, strategic technology projects and programs for the PMO team within the Information Technology Services (ITS) organization. A successful candidate will have strong organization awareness and an entrepreneurial approach as well as an ability to think strategically and critically.
About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
At least 7 years of project management experience in the technology industry
At least 7 years of experience managing both internal and outsourced IT resources
At least 7 years of experience managing Technology application and infrastructure projects, including SDLC and ITIL frameworks
Bachelors degree in Business, Technology, or related field
It would be great if you also had . . .
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Working knowledge of Smartsheet, PowerBI and the full Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Pivot Tables and PowerPoint
Ability to obtain the respect of senior business and technical leaders, coordinate global teams and handle issues and problems effectively in a timely manner
Strong meeting facilitation and management skills
What will you be doing in this role?
Managing large internal technology projects and programs, including managing risk to business value, status, timelines, and milestones
Developing and maintaining individual project plans and reporting accurate status, including budgetary information and resource requirements
Partnering closely with the technology team to understand their plans and initiatives, including definition of business impact and technical dependencies
Troubleshooting issues and risks and defining mitigation plans to ensure delivery timelines remain on schedule
Managing resource allocation, including relationships with third party vendors, and negotiating resource conflicts across the ITS portfolio
Participating in planning and prioritization activities to maintain a healthy project portfolio
Contributing to the implementation of improvements in standard solutions and processes
Forging partnerships across the ITS organization to deliver strategic business results
Working collaboratively with business stakeholders to align on value driven outcomes and ensure open communication related to technology programs and projects
About the Team
The ITS Strategic Planning and PMO team responsibilities include Portfolio, Program and Project management. Our PMs support technology projects across Clarivate with internal Stakeholders from within ITS such as Infrastructure, Infosec and Applications, from our Corporate Functions such as Finance, Sales and Marketing, and from our Product teams. We manage projects ranging from single team, low impact efforts to multi system, cross functional strategic programs that span several years.

Hybrid working model in-office 1-3 days/week
Must be located within a commutable distance to our Ann Arbor, MI; Kansas City, KS; Philadelphia, PA offices
