Job Description

As a Metal Finisher, you will start by working on an assembly line, gaining familiarity with the products. Initially, you may engage in simple mechanical assembly. As you grow proficient, you will have the opportunity to cross-train in various areas including grinding, where you will use a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges or polish metal. You may also learn basic metal fabrication, such as cutting sheets of metal to length, and potentially engage in spot welding to secure sheet metal during assembly. The role involves rotating around the production line, with the possibility to advance to MIG welding for those showing aptitude and interest.

Hard Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Experience in metal grinding, fabrication, or welding

  • Ability to use tools such as hand grinders and tape measures

Soft Skills

  • Strong interest in mechanical processes

  • Willingness to learn and cross-train

  • Adaptability to rotating tasks
