Description
We are seeking an organized and meticulous Operations Processor to join our team in Ansonia, Connecticut. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. It also entails monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Process and book loans into the banking platform system for commercial and consumer day-to-day loan operations.
• Maintain and update department-specific spreadsheets, reports, and review monthly scrub reports.
• Verify and return mortgage requests, ensuring authenticity.
• Organize and file documents to maintain accessible information.
• Monitor email, voice mail, and other communication channels and respond accordingly.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of different loan programs and corresponding computer system codes.
• Establish payment corrections and review billing statements.
• Manage payments, advances, and payoffs.
• Edit outgoing wires and cashier's checks, ensuring accuracy.
• Protect client confidence by keeping mortgage loan information confidential.
• Manage reports, monthly payments, and accrual adjustments.
• Input new loans, loan renewals, extensions, and modifications into the database.
• Update codes, status dates, and loan information for reporting as needed.
• Construct payoff letters and department invoices.
• Maintain status and information within the processing software system.
Requirements • Proficient in Data Entry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to ensure deadlines are met by coordinating with different teams
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience in an operations role is a plus
