LEAD ENGINEER E&I

Are you seeking a challenging role where you can combine your passion for electrical & instrumentation with developing innovative solutions for the process industry? Then we warmly welcome you at PA Solutions! We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Engineer E&I to strengthen our team.

Your responsibilities:

As Lead Engineer E&I, you are responsible for the field of E&I and oversee various projects:

• From the conceptual phase to the aftercare, you are involved in the elaboration of projects.

• You conceptualize and further develop customer-supplied information. Through proactive discussions at various levels with the customer, you collaborate on specifications and design.

• You are responsible for project management. This includes preparing and following up on quotations, resource planning, organizing kick-off meetings, project completion, progress reporting, and more. Additionally, you oversee change management and project close-out meetings.

• You guide and support the customer in the proper treatment, engineering, and implementation of the E&I scope, ensuring everything proceeds correctly.

• Depending on these projects and your own interests, there is always room for personal input and improvement, and you will have ample opportunities for learning and development.

Requirements for this position:

Hard skills:

• Preferably, you hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.

• You have several years of experience as an E&I engineer and relevant experience in project management.

• You possess a solid basic knowledge of control engineering and automation.

• You have an excellent proficiency of relevant software and tools, such as Eplan and AutoCad.

• You have good MS Office skills.

• You hold a valid driver's license.

Soft skills:

• You communicate clearly, both with clients and within the team.

• You are an organizational talent with a proactive attitude.

• You are resilient to stress.

• You have technical insight and a critical eye.

• You have natural leadership abilities; you can motivate people.

• You are fluent in English and Dutch.

Location:

Our offices in Belgium are located in Melsele and Antwerp-Berchem. But our client is located in Puurs, so you will commute there daily.
