Position Specifics:
Department: Parts
Reports to: Parts Manager
Supervises: None
Purpose:
Assist with stocking and managing of our parts inventory during the summer season. The Parts department manages the retail showroom, keeping it attractive, clean, and well stocked, as well as creating seasonal merchandising displays.
Responsibilities:
Improvement of existing and development of inventory optimization.
Execution and analysis of parts inventory.
Receiving stock inventory and stocking parts in appropriate locations/bins
Delivering parts to service/technicians for shop work
Pull and stock orders for Service Department
Learn how to look up and find parts
Understand complexity of ordering equipment for stock inventory
Learn about parts upselling
Focus on customer interaction-greet customers when they enter our stores and work fast and efficiently
Understanding of showroom displays and parts marketing
Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications:
Desire to work in Agriculture
Valid drivers license to travel to all our dealerships
Ability to speak and write effectively one-on-one and in groups
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
A willingness to learn
Location: Office will be located at a dealership that is most convenient to applicant, travel to other locations as needed
Physical Requirements: Some lifting (up to 50 lbs.). Long hours on computer. Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential.
