Coordinator, Training Customer Service

As part of VF Customer Service team, this position will support all VF Customer Service by developing and implementing a successful training curriculum for Customer Service Representatives. The Training Coordinator will create and deliver systems training, create and update training resources including documents and videos, offer refresher training programs, side by side coaching, and provide the necessary resources that promote service excellence, efficiency, and continuous learning. 

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Develop and execute engaging and interactive programs for onboarding and continuing education for employees.

  • Learn new systems quickly, use knowledge to create and facilitate new system training roll out to employees.

  • Develop and deliver training curriculum. Create classroom and virtual handouts, instructional materials, quizzes, tests, and training materials. Manage the creation of the training schedule and work with leadership team to coordinate resources.

  • Partner with leaders across the organization to assess training and development needs, designing programs that support company goals and values.

  • Assess employee knowledge by evaluating strengths and weaknesses, then recommend and facilitate internal and external training courses to enhance and grow employee’s knowledge and expertise.

  • Perform skills assessment on new hires before releasing them from training.

  • Review training programs for completeness and accuracy, recommend revisions or additions when necessary. 

  • Handle escalated issues as needed, assist with departmental policy and procedural questions.

  • Partner with other members of the training team to assess and recommend tools that will aid in training delivery and support.

  • Utilize adult learning principles and best practices to drive program effectiveness and adoption.

  • Research and utilize a variety of modalities (ILT, VILT, eLearning) to drive engagement.

  • Continually collect and review feedback while assessing training program quality and efficacy. Adjust approach and appropriate.

  • Support other assigned projects and responsibilities as needed.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 2+ years of related experience preferred

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Training, Education, Human Resources, or related area. Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree

Position Requirements :

  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite, background in SAP system preferred

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical

  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style

Hiring Range :

$45,600.00 USD - $57,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
