Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Daily balancing, reconciling financial transactions & recording to the General Ledger for the European & North America merchant acquiring business.
Supports with month end close activities.
Work closely with Reconciliation team, accounting team, Card Schemes, and other business lines to resolve any settlement related incidents and to analyse various financial data.
Ensure all processes are documented and procedures are updated periodically.
Respond timely & accurately to queries.
Support change across the business line and has an ability to recognise enhancements to processes and follow through from ideation to implementation.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
2-5 years of experience in a finance role
Key Skills
Fast learner, with exceptional attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and navigate a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Demonstrate strong organisation skills and strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy.
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyse data.
Excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite: MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Confidence in learning and embracing new technology to solve issues.
Experience with Workday but not essential
