ROOFING TECHNICIANS, Arvada, Colorado: The Roofing Technician is
responsible for manual labor of removing old roof systems, which includes
removal of EPS, ISO, Perlite, Built Up Roofs, EPDM, TPO, PVC,
etc.; Installing new roof insulation both flat and tapered along with full
roof system assembly that often requires roof decking, drain bowl
applications, and primarily commercial flat roof membranes such as EPDM,
TPO, PVC, and modified bitumen; Duties may require repairs to existing
roofs including shingles, standing seam metal, pro-panel metal, Built Up
Roofs, EPDM, TPO, PVC that will help our customers reduce likelihood of
leaks; Additional requirements include loading of materials & equipment
onto roofs as well as following safety requirements of Turner Morris and OSHA.
On-the-job training will be provided. Pre-hire drug testing required of
foreign and domestic workers, paid for by employer at no cost to the
employee. Travel is required in company vehicles from the company's
headquarters Arvada, Colorado to worksite locations in several counties in
Colorado, including the counties of: Jefferson, Denver, Boulder,
Adams, Arapaho
The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and
equipment required to perform the job. 4 days/wk, 40 hrs/wk, M-TH,
7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Need 10 temporary and full-time Roofing
Technicians. 04/01/2025-11/30/2025. $27.42/hr. Overtime possible
$41.13/hr. Potential worksites include cities and towns in the Colorado
counties of: Jefferson, Denver, Boulder, Adams, Arapahoe,
Douglas, and El Paso. Employees will be provided daily transportation in
company trucks from housing locations to worksites. Employer will assist
employees as needed in securing board, lodging, or other facilities, at
no cost to the employee. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal
to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total
employment period. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for
computing wages due. Workers paid every week. Employer will make all
deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law; no other deductions
will be taken by the employer. Employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the
first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other
related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the
H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges
primarily for the benefit of the worker). If the worker completes 50% of
the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for
transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of
work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed
earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of
return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker
original departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to
subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation
payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable
common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided
